California Dreamin'

This past weekend, our family went on an awesome vacation to San Diego. We went to Sea World, Legoland and Belmont Park. We all had a blast.

This is the plane ride to California - the kids did an amazing job on the plane.

The first night in California we ate at El Indio which was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I must say - Guy Fieri doesn't know good Mexican food.

Sea World!

Kristi and I got a chance to feed the dolphins while we were there. I felt so bad for them - they all had scars all over their bodies and the pool that they were in seemed really small.

Here we are feeding the seals and sea loins. The birds there are really aggressive and tried taking the fish everyone was throwing at the seals and sea lions.

Shamu! He was Kristi's favorite. We all loved watching him do a show for us while we enjoyed a nice buffet lunch.

It's time to lounge and swim!

Legoland was fun - but I wouldn't do it again unless the kids were older. Brandon only got to ride on 3 of their many many rides. So, for most of the time Chad and I took turns taking Kristi on rides.

Our last night there we ate at a place called Luigi's At The Beach. They had HUGE slices of pizza that were soooooo yummy. Do you think they would deliver to Colorado? ;)

Right across the street from Luigi's was Belmont Park. It is a boardwalk on the beach that has shops, restaurants, carnival rides and games. Very fun!!!

Dora Live! Kristi's 4th Birthday Party

Last week and weekend has been very exciting. Kristi's 4th Birthday was last Friday, so we decided to go to dinner and see Dora to celebrate. Our friends Samantha, Craig and Shayna met us at Red Robin for dinner and then we all headed to the Dora Live show. Kristi had sooooo much fun watching the show and playing with Shayna.

On Saturday, we had Kristi's Birthday Party at McDonalds. We had the whole playplace to ourselves and the kids loved it.

Friends, Our Bouncer and Ria's 1st Brithday Party

Kristi had her last week of pre-school a couple weeks ago. But, while she was there she met her friend Shayna. She is a cute little girl and it just so happens that she has a younger brother too! Zachary is a year older than Brandon, but they like hanging out together. They are almost the same size if you can believe it!!! Here are some pictures from a playdate we had at our house.

The kids love playing in the bouncer together. Kristi can be a little rough with Brandon, but he loves to play with her.

On Sunday, we went to Ria's 1st Birthday Party. It was at Belleview Park and we had fun riding the train, playing volleyball, splashing in the streams and eating some yummy cake and popsicles.

Mother's Day

This year Mother's Day was very nice. Chad and the kids got me a gift certificate to get an one hour massage, and we went out for a nice family dinner. Mother's Day morning we went to brunch with my sister and parents to Zink. The food was really really good. Since Chad and Kristi were a little under the weather - we will be celebrating Mother's Day with Sherrie in the near future. Here are the pictures from our brunch with my mom, dad and sister.
