Fall Fun in Our Halloween Costumes

Kristi and Brandon had lots of fun playing in their Halloween costumes in our backyard. I raked up a pile of leaves and Kristi loved throwing leaves into the air and at Brandon - siblings!

Kristi will be Cleopatra and Brandon will be a little bear for Halloween.

Today, Brandon had his 6 month check-up and he is 20 pounds and 27 inches tall. He is in the 87% for weight and 70% for height. Ah, my big little man. Brandon has very strong legs and he is more interested in practicing standing on his own than learning how to crawl. So, I have a bet with Chad that Brandon will be walking by Christmas and Chad believes he will be walking in February of next year. Bets anyone??? LOL ;)

Circus!

Last night we went to the circus and had a wonderful time. Kristi was soaking it all in and was so excited. Brandon did amazing. Even though it was a little loud, Brandon just sat in my lap and watched wide eyed without a peep.

Here are some pictures from last night...

Brandon's new sippy cup!

The past month Brandon has been reaching and grabbing for everything. I thought this would be the perfect time to introduce a sippy. He is doing wonderfully at it. He can grab the two handles and get it to his mouth and drink. However, sometimes he does bonk his nose or eyes trying to find his mouth. Here is a video.

Cute kids

Kristi loves to help me make dinner - so here she is helping with the rolls.

Kristi loves to play with Brandon on the floor. She often takes his toys, but when reminded that they are Brandon's baby toys she gives them right back.

Brandon can almost sit up completely by himself. Once in awhile he loses his balance, but stays upright most of the time.

Brandon loves cruisin' in his car here are some pictures of him ridin' around the kitchen. He can go forward, backward and in circles.

Oh, Princess Kristi. She has almost all of the Disney Princess dresses and she LOVES to dress up and pretend. She has tiaras, "heels" and jewelery to complete her ensemble.

This past weekend Kristi, Chad and Grandma Sherrie completed this 500 piece puzzle. What an accomplishment that was! Since it's completion I promptly purchased puzzle glue so it can be framed and hung in Kristi's room.

There is my puppy!
